Why Jesus in the Age of the Son and Christ Ahnsahnghong in the Age of the Holy Spirit Said the New Covenant Is Important All mankind were grievous sinners who deserved God’s punishment for the sins committed in heaven, but God came to this earth in the flesh and granted us the forgiveness of sins through the new covenant so that we can hope for the kingdom of heaven again as God’s children. The Heavenly Family Is Perfected Through the Love of Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother God came to this earth, where He suffered the agony of the cross, once again to restore the new covenant that had been lost during the Dark Ages and to open the way of salvation for mankind. Heavenly children received God’s love, which even the pain of death could not hinder. Thus, brothers and sisters in Zion, who became the heavenly family, should put into practice the love they received from God by loving one another. “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34

When Jesus came to this earth, He said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” The prophets also testify that our home is heaven, this earth is a place where we dwell temporarily after committing sins in heaven, and our life on this earth is a life of a stranger. Now, let us all eat the food of the kingdom of God, which is the new covenant, and become the citizens of the kingdom of heaven who enter the heavenly wedding banquet by putting on the wedding clothes through righteous and holy deeds.

On June 5, 2025, in celebration of World Environment Day, the 2nd ASEZ WAO Global Forum was held in Jeju, Republic of Korea. ASEZ WAO, the young adult worker volunteer group of the World Mission Society Church of God, discussed actionable solutions for the future with experts from various fields and representatives of international organizations under the theme: “Plastic-Free 2040.” Distinguished speakers—including Professor Kim In-hwan of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at Seoul National University and Michelle Palumbarit, Director of UP-CIFAL, Philippines and faculty member of the University of the Philippines—shared insights on the role of young adults and strategies for restoring the global environment. The event marked the finale of the 40-day “Plastic Pollution-Free” campaign, carried out jointly by ASEZ WAO young adults around the world, demonstrating the power of concrete action and solidarity in bringing meaningful change to the Earth. ASEZ WAO will continue moving forward with the conviction that “When young adults take action, the world changes,” advancing toward a sustainable future.

In 2023, ASEZ WAO, the World Mission Society Church of God’s young adult worker volunteer group, held a global forum under the theme “One Step to a Green Earth.” More than 2,300 participants, including ASEZ WAO activists from 37 countries, experts, and citizens, gathered to explore measures to respond to the climate crisis and share practical examples. ASEZ WAO also presented its five major projects for achieving the UN SDGs, offering practical solutions for building a sustainable Earth. This forum served as a meaningful event that demonstrated how young people’s solidarity and action can contribute to solving environmental issues.

Those Who Go to Heaven Have the Heavenly Growth Rings That God Recognizes In tropical regions where the climate changes very little, trees often do not develop clear growth rings whereas trees that have suffered from changes in the weather, pests, droughts, and floods have distinct growth rings. Likewise, each person has their own growth rings to determine what kind of life they have lived for the kingdom of heaven. Thus, it is important to put into practice God’s will with an earnest heart to save one soul. According to the Words, “A Man Reaps What He Sows,” We Need to Be Faithful Even to the Point of Death Every day, each individual is forming the heavenly growth rings at home or at church. The mindset with which we spend time preaching the gospel, attending worship, and praying determines our heavenly growth rings. Each person will be granted blessings and rewards accordingly. “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.” Revelation 22:12 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:8–9

Even an upright stick looks bent when immersed in water. Likewise, God’s children need a spiritual perspective to recognize the truth. Our physical minds hinder us from seeing God’s words clearly and cause us to view them with distortion, but our spiritual minds allow us to correctly look at Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother, who lead us to life and peace.
