Those Who Take Away the Sabbath and Add Sunday Worship
The Biblical Basis for the Church of God Keeping the Sabbath Day on Saturday
Today, even the Catholic Church, which holds worship on Sunday,
acknowledges that the Sabbath recorded in the Bible is Saturday, not Sunday.
In the Old Testament times, God Jehovah declared the seventh day as God’s Sabbath
and commanded it to be kept holy as the fourth of the Ten Commandments.
In the New Testament times, Jesus also stated
that the Sabbath should be kept holy until the end of the age.
Worshipping on Sunday, the first day, which is not mentioned in the Bible,
is an act of adding to or taking away from the words of God,
and thus, it leads to receiving disasters
and being unable to enter the kingdom of heaven.
