God’s command visualizes our faith, which is invisible. The proof of repentance, which is invisible, is preaching.
God checks whether we believe in God or not through whether we keep His commands or not, not by our appearance, and He approves the person who preaches as the one who has truly repented.
“Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ ” Luke 3:8
Complete Repentance Is Done Through Preaching
The Church of God members are fulfilling the mission of preaching by getting rid of the old self and clothing with the new self to make a complete repentance according to the teachings of Jesus.
The one who has truly repented come to share his realization about the truth and the grace of salvation joyfully with other people.
