Since its founding in 1964, the World Mission Society Church of God has grown exponentially around the world and along the East Coast of the United States. Located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, the Church of God in New Windsor is a gathering point for many members who come together to study the Bible and serve their community through volunteer service.

The church has received accolades and numerous awards from local government officials and organizations around the world for its dedication to volunteer service activities. The Church of God has earned the president's call to Service award in the United States nine times since 2011.
