In 1950, the country was left in ruins by the Korean War.
In the face of dire poverty, relentless hunger, and the struggles of life and death, He kept His faith and set an example of keeping the Sabbath.
In 1964, the early days of the Church of God were humble.
Christ Ahnsahnghong worked tirelessly to cultivate the barren land of the gospel, living a life of hardship and poverty.
He often sustained Himself with simple barley porridge, using the modest wages from strenuous labor to support His missionary work. By night, under the faint light of a lamp, He wrote the Books of Truth, imparting teachings that could solely be unveiled by the Creator God.
The tattered, fading notebook filled with His heartfelt devotion, written with eagerness, as He filled each page under the dim light.
Every letter He carefully wrote resonated with the deep love of Father, cascading across the pages like droplets of sorrow.
Despite His difficult life, He stayed up late writing the Books of Truth, traveling across the country with a burning desire to find His lost children.
"I have come, God has come. I have come to give life to my sons and daughters."
He did not take care of Himself, nor did He spare His precious life, giving everything for the salvation of His children.
Even in moments of hunger and despair, He silently endured the stormy life, holding on to the name "Father"—the sole name of significance.
