On 27 July 2025, over 180 participants, including students from the University of Pretoria and Tshwane University of Technology held the “ASEZ Zero Plastic 2040” Youth Forum in the World Mission Society Church of God, Pretoria, South Africa.
The Forum aimed at eradicating plastic which threatens the lives of people and sea creatures due to its non-biodegradable nature. Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga expressed her support by proposing an MOU. Professor Nolwazi Nombona of the University of Pretoria shared how Chemistry can prevent environmental pollution. Councillor Shaun Wilkinson expressed his deep gratitude in working with ASEZ for 10 years. And guests pledged their support through the online signature platform.
The Forum came just after ASEZ cleaned up the Apies River and collected 200 kilograms of trash. ASEZ shares love with neighbors through environmental protection as taught by God the Father and God the Mother. ASEZ will continue to make efforts to ensure a Zero-Plastic earth by the year 2040.
