On 1 February 2026, over 100 ASEZ WAO volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God came together, in partnership with the Minister of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE), Mr Willie Aucamp, to plant more than 300 trees at Khayelitsha Hospital in Cape Town.
This initiative forms part of ASEZ WAO’s global “Mother’s Forest” Tree Planting campaign, which promotes the idea that even one small act—like planting a single tree—can help change the world. Through their worldwide “Planting 7 Billion Trees” movement, volunteers aim to reduce greenhouse gases and respond to the urgent challenges of climate change.
With bright smiles and a strong determination to protect the environment, volunteers carried out tree-planting efforts not only in Cape Town but also in many other cities across South Africa.
ASEZ WAO remains committed to raising awareness, inspiring action, and planting hope for a greener, more sustainable future.
Together, let's save the earth from A to Z!
