Westminster, CA – On Sunday, February 8, 2026, volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God ASEZ WAO young adult worker volunteer group came together in remarkable unity to host the 7th ASEZ WAO Environmental Concert – an inspiring event dedicated to raising awareness about today’s most pressing environmental challenges and calling the community to action.
Held at the Rose Center Theater, adjacent to City Hall, the concert welcomed a full house of nearly 400 attendees. The atmosphere reflected not only a shared concern for the plant, but also a powerful unity of ASEZ WAO volunteers who worked hand-in-hand to organize every detail of the event – from planning and rehearsals to outreach and production.
The President of ASEZ WAO, Pastor Kim Yong Gap, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the audience for their support and emphasized the importance of working together to create a cleaner, safer Earth where all people can live in harmony.
The event was honored by the presence of several distinguished community leaders and professionals who came to support the young adult activists. They included Mayor of Westminster Chi Charle Nguyen, Councilmember Carlos Manzo, Councilmember Amy Phan West, USC Environmental Health Scientist Liu Tuo, and USC Chemistry Professor Travis Williams. Their presence underscored the share responsibility between civic leaders, educators, and volunteers to address environmental issues together.
In recognition of their dedication and positive community impact, ASEZ WAO received Certificates of Recognition from Mayor Nguyen, U.S. Congressman Lou Correa, and U.S. Senator Alex Padilla. These acknowledgements highlight the growing support for ASEZ WAO’s mission and the meaningful difference ASEZ WAO volunteers are making in their local communities.
Throughout the afternoon, ASEZ WAO volunteers demonstrated not only musical talent, but also extraordinary teamwork and dedication. Their unity reflected the message they sought to share: lasting change is possible when people come together with one heart and one purpose.
Through harmony and song in service, ASEZ WAO volunteers continue to inspire hope for a cleaner and brighter future.
