ASEZ and ASEZ WAO Environmenal Meeting with Gauteng

He met the organisation leadership as well as the young adult volunteers committed to protecting the environment. The engagement comprised of 60 participants and showcased the organization's environmental programmes such as tree-planting, removal of alien-invasive species, community clean-up and raising environmental awareness. MEC Botha complimented ASEZ and ASEZ WAO and reaffirmed cross-sector collaboration in achieving long-term environmental outcomes. He further encouraged the youth volunteers to share their knowledge with families, schools and community at large to foster environmental responsibility as those who can shape the future.
The engagement concluded with the MEC signing a letter of support in recognition of the organization's environmental initiatives and commitment to partner to create a lasting environmental impact in Gauteng.
