The hospital was like a second home to my mother.
She received rehabilitation therapy every day; and sometimes she had to get acupuncture treatment or have her rotten blood drawn.
While others were living their normal daily lives, she was in such terrible pain.
One day when I was talking to her on the phone, I asked her,
“Mom, how come you’ve lived with such severe pain?”
I felt so sorry toward my mother when I heard her answer.
