On June 5, 2025, in celebration of World Environment Day, the 2nd ASEZ WAO Global Forum was held in Jeju, Republic of Korea.
ASEZ WAO, the young adult worker volunteer group of the World Mission Society Church of God, discussed actionable solutions for the future with experts from various fields and representatives of international organizations under the theme: “Plastic-Free 2040.”
Distinguished speakers—including Professor Kim In-hwan of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at Seoul National University and Michelle Palumbarit, Director of UP-CIFAL, Philippines and faculty member of the University of the Philippines—shared insights on the role of young adults and strategies for restoring the global environment.
The event marked the finale of the 40-day “Plastic Pollution-Free” campaign, carried out jointly by ASEZ WAO young adults around the world, demonstrating the power of concrete action and solidarity in bringing meaningful change to the Earth.
ASEZ WAO will continue moving forward with the conviction that “When young adults take action, the world changes,” advancing toward a sustainable future.
