The day before He was crucified,
Jesus gathered His twelve disciples
in Mark’s upper room.
Facing His impending death on the cross,
what Jesus desired to do the most was to keep the Passover.
When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles
reclined at the table. And he said to them,
“I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover
with you before I suffer.” Lk 22:14–15
