Why Did God Choose David?

King Saul, a veteran of many battles, his soldiers,
and David’s brothers—Eliab, Abinadab, and Shammah—
also trembled at the sight of Goliath, who blasphemed God.
Yet, just like God took pleasure in David, who appeared weak on the outside
but possessed the greatest faith, today, He delights in the members
of the Church of God who preach the gospel with complete faith.
