The City of Refuge & the Earth

In the past, Israel had some cities of refuge to protect those who killed someone accidentally, but they could not come out of it until the anointed high priest died. (Murders were surely put to death even though they entered the city of refuge).

The Mystery Hidden in the System of the City of Refuge

God taught that the system of the city of refuge is the shadow of the things to come. In other words, He enlightened us that the earth is a spiritual city of refuge where heavenly sinners live together and the home of humankind is the kingdom of heaven.

The only way for mankind to have the forgiveness of sins in the city of refuge and to return heavenly home is to keep the Passover that Jesus, who came as the High Priest, established through His sacrifice of death.
