All mankind, born on the earth, is destined to suffer pains of death and the punishment of hell due to their grievous sins in the Kingdom of Heaven.
We must always walk the path of faith with gratitude to God for undertaking the pains on the cross in order to save us.

The Church of God, Full of Joy and Gratitude for God’s Salvation

The members of the Church of God make every effort to live a life of gratitude, learning the lessons from the Israelites who were destroyed as a result of complaining against God after forgetting God’s power and grace of saving them from 400-year slavery.

Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did . . . These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!  1 Corinthians 10:6–12
