If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree
to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ
and to godly teaching, and quarrels about words
that result in envy, strife, malicious talk,
evil suspicions and constant friction between men
of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth . . . 1 Timothy 6:3–5
When we put our experience before God’s word, we come to disobey God. The Bible also records that the result of disobedience is God’s wrath and punishment.
Therefore, what is important for the Church of God members is not about how long they have believed in God but how much they are now obeying God’s word.
The standards of obedience are only in the Bible, so we must always pay attention to the words of God the Father and Mother.
