The Church of God members believe Christ Ahnsahnghong is Second Coming Christ because He is the only One who has allowed mankind, who were destined to die due to the sin of eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, to eat from the Tree of Life again and promised eternal life through the New Covenant Passover that is the reality of the Tree of Life.

Just as the Jews persecuted Jesus 2,000 years ago, regarding Him as merely the son of a carpenter, today too, many people do not believe Christ Ahnsahnghong who has come to give salvation. However, those who are to be saved realize the New Covenant Passover that is the reality of the Tree of Life and come to Him.

[T]he LORD Almighty will prepare a feast . . . a banquet of aged wine—. . . he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken.
