The Passover, Through Which We Can Escape Disasters (EWE)

The way to escape disasters is to keep the Passover of the New Covenant.

Only the Church of God, which is established by Christ Ahnsahnghong who came a second time as prophesied in the Bible, keeps the Passover of the new covenant according to the teachings of the Bible.

Climate change, earthquakes, typhoons, famines, and wars continue, and killing does not stop.

If these disasters come upon you, are you able to avoid them?

Wars! Famines! Earthquakes! Pestilences!

People who’ve lost their children are wailing, calling out their names. People who are in rags and starving feed on soil and lament in silence. All of us are trembling in the fear of climate change, earthquakes, typhoons, wars, and famines, Pestilences, which may befall us at anytime.

Please hear our groaning in disasters!

O God Almighty, who brought the Israelites out of disasters through the Passover!

Please take pity on us and let us know the way to be saved from these disasters!

Please save us!

About 3,500 years ago, when the great disaster to kill the firstborn was brought upon Egypt, the families who celebrated the Passover by slaughtering year-old lambs and painting the blood on the sides and tops of the doorframes, were not harmed in any way.

“ ‘The blood (of the Passover lamb) will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt . . .’ ”Ex 12:11–14

The Passover, a sign of the power of God, keeps us from disasters! The Passover that was held in Egypt was a shadow. The Passover, which Jesus established before He was crucified, is the reality. (Lk 22:20; Mt 26:17)

The Passover of the new covenant, through which we can participate in Jesus’ precious blood, must be celebrated in this age, too.

However, at the Council of Nicaea held in AD 325, the new covenant Passover, in which Jesus’ precious blood is promised, was completely abolished.

Thankfully, God said, “In its time I will do this swiftly” (Isa 60:22), and the due time has come and the Passover, the truth of God, has been revealed.

Christ Ahnsahnghong who came a second time as prophesied in the Bible has restored the Passover of the new covenant.

“Throughout the world, it is only the World Mission Society the Church of God (General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol) that celebrates the Passover with bread and wine just like the Last Supper of Jesus Christ.”

O God, let us preach the Passover of the new covenant, the only way to take part in Jesus’ precious blood, so that the whole world can keep it and be saved from disasters!

Please come to the Church of God, which is established by Christ Ahnsahnghong who came a second time according to the prophecies of the Bible, and keep the Passover of the new covenant, and you will be saved from disasters and receive eternal life.
