The Feast of Tabernacles, the Feast to Commemorate the Completion of Building the Temple
When Moses and the Israelites were building the tabernacle as a place for the Ten Commandments to reside, in obedience to God’s will, the people’s hearts were moved and they joyfully brought all kinds of materials for the completion of building the temple. This became the origin of the Feast of Tabernacles.
The Church of God Members Gather the Materials For the Spiritual Temple
Jesus gathered materials for the heavenly temple through preaching. The true meaning of the Feast of Tabernacles for this age is to find all our heavenly family members—the materials for the spiritual temple, and to lead them to Father and Mother, and complete the heavenly temple.
In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.Ephesians 2:21–22
