Just as Jesus endured and overcame scorn, being despised by people, and the betrayal of His disciples, and suffered on the cross all for His beloved children, we too, ought to take up our cross and follow Jesus’ path.
Through the Feast of Unleavened Bread, we must remember the suffering of Jesus Christ and think of the suffering of Christ Ahnsahnghong who came a second time. When we follow Christ in His path, giving thanks in all situations, God turns obstacles like the Red Sea into a tool of grace.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.” Matthew 16:24–25
