Hell

Hell is a very dreadful place where it is even hard to receive a drop of water while in the agony of the fire. (Luke 16:24) Jesus said, “If our hand, foot, or eye causes us to sin, it is better to cut it off or pluck it out than to go to hell.” (Mark 9:43) It is because the torment in hell cannot be compared with the pain of cutting off a part of our body.

“Where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched in hell.” Mark 9:48

“Everyone will be salted with fire.” Mark 9:49

Even though the punishment of hell is extremely painful, we cannot die by ourselves. In hell, there is not a moment of the joy of life, not a moment of rest, and no hope of salvation at all, but only immense pain, regret and sorrow. Why do we go to hell if we don’t repent after hearing the gospel?

Before we were born on this earth, we were angels in heaven. (Job 38:4) However, we committed sins in heaven and received the sentence of going to hell. So, we were born on the earth, a spiritual prison, and we stay here temporarily. (Ezekiel 28:13) If we do not seek the way to avoid the punishment of hell on this earth, we are destined to go to hell.

“What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?” Romans 7:24

God took pity on mankind destined to receive the punishment of hell, and He Himself came to this earth to show the way to avoid the punishment of hell.

“I have . . . come to call . . . sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:32

In order to forgive our sins which lead to death and to save us from the punishment of hell, God gave His flesh and blood as a ransom for mankind, sinners.

“ ‘Take and eat; the Passover bread is my body.’ ” Matthew 26:26

“ ‘The Passover wine is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.’ ” Matthew 26:28

When we keep the new covenant Passover, we are blessed with the forgiveness of sins and are saved from the punishment of hell. And also, we can receive eternal life and go back to heaven.

“ ‘Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.’ ” John 6:54

However, if we reject the message, “Receive the forgiveness of sins and eternal life through the Passover,” the sins we committed in heaven cannot be forgiven, and we are to receive the punishment of hell as destined.

“ ‘I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.’ ” Luke 22:15

Please keep the new covenant Passover, God’s sign for the forgiveness of sins, and go back to heaven!
