When we face trials, tribulations, and the heavy burden of the cross on our path of faith, those who regard these hardships as suffering, thinking, “I am unfortunate,” will be truly unhappy, but those who realise the blessings and give thanks in these situations will find happiness and enter the kingdom of heaven.
Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother say, “Be joyful always and give thanks in all circumstances,” and teach us to live a life of contentment because worldly greed creates temptation and unhappiness. They teach us to practice training ourselves to be godly by changing any unfortunate situation to happy energy.
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16–18
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. . . . but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
