Worship Is an Important Ceremony Through Which We Can Be Brought Near to God
Just as Adam and Eve lost the glory of the Garden of Eden due to the sin of eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, mankind lost all glory because of their sins in heaven and were cast down to this earth. Mankind were separated from God because of their sins, but God has allowed them to worship Him through the seven festivals in three times, including the Sabbath day and the Passover, as a way to forgive their sins.
The Church of God Keeps the Worship for the Forgiveness of Sins, Like Abel’s Sacrifice
We can confirm in the Bible that Abel’s sacrifice, which pleased God, foreshadowed that Christ would forgive the sins of mankind by shedding His blood on the cross. Through the sacrifice of blood, that is, worship, mankind can draw closer to God and become part of God’s family as the sons and daughters of Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother, the Saviors in the age of the Holy Spirit.
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. . . . Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, Ephesians 2:13, 19
