Many people believe that simply by attending church, they become God’s true people.
However, with God’s law of life, He distinguishes between the true people and the false ones.
God’s true people, who hold citizenship in heaven, must observe
the Sabbath day, which commemorates the power of the Creator,
and the Passover, which commemorates the power of the Redeemer.
Just as Solomon, the king of wisdom, used bees and butterflies
to distinguish the fresh flower from the artificial flower,
God distinguishes His true people through His commandments
such as the Sabbath day and the Passover.
Today, countless members around the world keep God’s commandments—the sign of God’s people—
restored through the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother.
For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears,
many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction,
their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame.
Their mind is set on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven. . . .
Philippians 3:18–20
“ ‘Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you.
Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death;
those who do any work on that day must be cut off from their people.’ ”
Exodus 31:14
