The Israelites received the second set of Ten Commandments after they repented of their idolatry,
and God named that day the Day of Atonement because they received atonement from God.
The Festival of Trumpets on the first day of the seventh month by the sacred calendar
is the festival when the trumpet of repentance was blown aloud to signify
that all the people should repent to God because ten days later is the Day of Atonement.
Just as the Israelites blew the trumpet of repentance
ten days before the Day of Atonement in the time of Moses,
we must now blow the trumpet to call the whole world
to come to Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother to be saved
and to achieve complete repentance
through baptism and the festivals of the new covenant.
“Say to the Israelites: ‘On the first day of the seventh month
you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts.’ ”
Leviticus 23:24
Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Luke 5:31–32
