The Sin of Adam and Eve Originated From Forgetting God’s Law

Just as Adam and Eve sinned because they forgot God’s law,
“You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,”
whenever we forget God’s law, we commit sin and receive disasters.
Even in this age, God says that the last disaster will come
because the world has forgotten God’s law—the Sabbath day
and the Passover of the new covenant, and does not keep them.

It Is God Ahnsahnghong Who Commands Us to Keep
the New Covenant, the Sabbath Day, and the Passover

Human beings are souls [angels] who sinned in heaven and
were cast down to this earth. They can return to heaven
only when they obey God’s word while they live on this earth.
Just as King Hezekiah received blessings by keeping the law
[the Passover] according to God’s word, the Church of God
obey God’s will by keeping God’s law—the new covenant.

Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God,
failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees
that I am giving you this day.
Deuteronomy 8:11

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom
of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father
who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord,
did we not prophesy in your name and . . . perform many miracles?’
. . . ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ ”
