At the time of the Israelites’ exodus, disasters fell upon all of Egypt, but no disasters came upon the Israelites. This was precisely the difference between a place with God’s covenant and a place without it. God has given a great promise that wherever His commandment—the Passover of the new covenant—is kept, His people will be blessed when they come in and blessed when they go out, and He will set them high above all the nations on the earth.
The prophets Isaiah, Zephaniah, and Peter testify that a great disaster of fire will come upon this earth because the world does not keep the new covenant, which includes God’s Sabbath day and the Passover. The Bible testifies that only by keeping God’s covenant can mankind become the children of Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother and receive God’s protection from all disasters.
If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God: . . . You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. Deuteronomy 28:1–6
“When you tell these people all this and they ask you, ‘Why has the LORD decreed such a great disaster against us? What wrong have we done? What sin have we committed against the LORD our God?’ then say to them, ‘It is because your ancestors forsook me, . . . and did not keep my law.’ ” Jeremiah 16:10–11
